While driving home tonight, I couldn't help notice just how bright the moon was this evening. So I put my 300mm lens on top of my 1.4X teleconverter & manually grabbed a couple of shots.
This first shot is nice & bright, like the moon itself tonight.
This second shot is darker, but you can make out the features of the face of the moon a bit better.
I should point out that if you want to take a closer look at the pictures, the blogspot website lets you click on them to make them full-screen.
